Help us express our gratitude to the fire gods for leaving our beautiful community in peace… Come make beautiful things in offering to the Fire Festival! A few fun Wdnesdays, 4-7PM at the Center for the Arts, in the Art Association multi-purpose studio. Drinks and snacks provided. Children welcome.

Wednesday, May 30 – Torii-inspired Tunnel of Willow Branches, led by artist Valerie Seaberg (a Torii marks the entrance to a Shinto shrine)

SUMMER STAGE COMBAT CLASS
Riot Act Inc. hosts a Summer Stage Combat Class based on the theme of traditional Asian combat, including martial arts. The class will be taught by professional fight director Marius P Hanford IV and includes hand to hand stage combat and stage weapons training. The workshop will culminate in performance (optional for students) on June 20th at the Fire Festival in the Town Square.
